ABOUT THE CENTER
Established in 2002 by the WV Legislature, the West Virginia Center for End-of-Life Care provides coordination, education, and resources so that West Virginians will 1) have their preferences for care at the end of life identified and respected through advance care planning, 2) die in the setting of their choice with the option of palliative care and hospice, and 3) die comfortably with the availability of appropriate pain and symptom management.

The WV Center for End-of-Life Care is located on the campus of the Health Sciences Center (HSC) of West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. The offices are on the first floor of HSC North.

Visiting the Center's offices?
Parking for office visits:
The Center is unable to provide parking vouchers. Hourly parking is available in the Mountaineer Station parking garage located at:
1112 Van Voorhis Road, Morgantown, WV 26506.
Walking directions:
After parking at the Mountaineer Station, use the stairs or elevator to access the top (7th) floor. Follow the covered sidewalk straight to the main entrance of the HSC building.
From the main entrance (by the Pylons) to the HSC building, take the hallway on the left just in front of Jazzman's coffee shop. This hallway has two restrooms and a University Police Department (UPD) office.
Turn left again after the UPD office. The Center offices will be the last door on the right of that hall. Do not make any other turns. The office number is 1168 F.
